The East Sherman planning effort has worked to engage the community in fun and meaningful ways since it began in 2015. Below is an overview of the different engagement activities that the community has an opportunity to participate in:
2023
The East Sherman Stakeholders have reconvened to discuss the revitalization of East Sherman and how to move this effort forward. Meetings were held on October 16 and November 20. The next meeting is scheduled for December 18.
2022
Pilot Project Conclusion – Volunteer Effort to Remove the Parklet Seating Structure
Volunteers met in front of Moon Time on the 1600 block of East Sherman on September 7 to remove the parklet seating structure and move any planters out of the street. The City’s Streets & Engineering crew then removed the reflective bollards and striping, to convert the block back to its original configuration starting September 12th.
